Workshops can be tailored to meet the needs of a school or district. Options include but are not limited to the following: 

1. A two-to-three hour overview of the traits.

2. A one day workshop in which teachers will explore two or three traits in depth.

3. A two day workshop in which teachers will explore all six traits in depth with time also spent discussing how to implement the traits in classrooms on a day-to-day basis.

4. Model lessons taught in your classrooms with your students while teachers observe the lessons. A short debrief with the teachers follows each lesson.

5. A train-the-trainer program. Once a district has implemented the traits, the challenge is to provide training for new staff and on-going support for veteran teachers. Through this cost-effective approach, Fred can guide some of your master teachers into the role of trainer and coach.

6. A three hour workshop for administrators that focuses on how they can support the traits in their buildings so the initiative becomes a powerful tool in all classrooms for all students.
